Tim Pepper
About Tim
In an established family suburb such as Henleaze, having a recognisable and much-liked local face heading up an estate agency is key. Tim Pepper, Branch Manager/Director started estate agency in 1997 and has worked for CJ Hole Henleaze since 2003, when he joined as Sales Manager. He became a director of the company in 2006.
Tim grew up in Westbury Park – just half a mile up the road – and he has two young children attending local schools. He not only promotes the community to applicants, he lives in it and is a respected part of it, which includes opening fairs and sponsoring charity events.
MNAEA-qualified, Tim was appointed Branch Manager just a year after joining the company and has diligently fulfilled his managerial skills via a range of courses, including The Leadership Trust. He has since carefully recruited his present staff with Chris Hill, Managing Director, and has trained them thoroughly in all the core sales skills, such as listening, teamwork and remembering details about both buyers and vendors.
Tim’s tenacity and drive saw his branch secure top spot amongst a national league of 89 offices for 2009 – an accolade the office has never before achieved. He believes hard work and old-fashioned values are at the root of achieving such an accomplishment in difficult economic conditions.

We received a highly professional standard of service from every member of the team. They maintained channels of communication open and were available for contact until later than other estate agents. We were very pleased with the service received from Tim and the team at the Henleaze branch when we recently purchased our property. It took us some time to find a property as we had some specific requirements, but CjHole were very patient with us during our search and not at all pushy, which was appreciated. The move itself went very smoothy, with Tim staying on top of the solicitors to assist us with a very quick moving date. We would happily recommend CjHole and would definetly buy/sell with them again.

FIrstly let me say I would have rated the service 5 star if it had not been for a couple of problems along the way. These problems were not (as far as I am aware) created by CJ Hole and they handled them well when they came up....these issues cost us some extra money so I have to drop a star for the transaction rather than the estate agents specifically. But let me say these guys went over and above the call of duty to get the sale sorted, the extensive delays created extra work that they were happy to take on and with Nick in person (all viewings) and Tim on the phone (mostly) I was able to get the sale agreed at a fair price in an awkward climate. I would highly recommend them and will indeed make them the first point of contact when we come to sell. Thanks again guy\'s

The overall service was great - the agent was helpful at every turn and looked to push through the sale as quickly as possible. They answered all our questions and facilitated great communication between us and the vendors. This is a very professional team, right from their initial suggestions as to how to make our flat more marketable, down to liaising with solicitors throughout the conveyancing process. They were always available to sort out the minor issues which arose to take out much of the stress. In our opinion, their local knowledge backed by a national company provide excellent value for money and a superior service.

I found the staff at the Henleaze branch very professional at every stage of the process of buying a property. I was able to view the property at quite short notice and was given all the information as soon as I asked about the house. The member of staff who showed us around was polite, pleasant, punctual and had good knowledge of the house and area so was able to answer all questions. I was kept well informed at all times and the whole process was made as simple as possible. The staff also had a good relationship with the vendor which made communication between all parties stress free.

Being our first purchase this was a bit of a learning experience; we dealt with several members of the team who were always polite and knowledgeable. Although our (somewhat optimistic) completion date slipped by a week or two this was not down to CJ Hole who, on our behalf, chased solicitors and other agencies to keep things moving along. Repeat viewings with family members were gladly arranged and we never felt rushed. We wouldn\'t hesitate to use CJ Hole in the future.

C J Hole were fantastic. This is was my third house sale and it was by far the smoothest. They were polite, efficient, knowledgable and totally honest and straightforward with us. House viewings were always on time, and once we had accepted an offer the process was easy. They answered any questions we had very promptly, even replying to emails on Sunday evenings! They took all the stress out of the sale and I can\'t recommend them highly enough.

I had been house hunting for 2 months and had a difficult time trying to find a house. Other estate agents had not been overly helpful. Then I found a property marketed by CJHole henleaze. Tim answered the phone and although there were back to back viewings already on the house, he re-arranged two appointments to squeeze me in between on a Friday afternoon. I was thankful and as soon as I saw the property I knew I was very interested. I arranged immediately with Tim to visit again and after that I made an offer. Tim and George Negotiated succinctly and I was successful. Nick patiently baby sat me on my visits to meet contractors for the work it needed. I would recommend CJ Hole team (George, Tim and Nick) whole heartedly as they safely saw me through the purchase of a house I love and is perfect for me. They did it in a efficient and professional manner and eliviated many concerns I may have had.

We came to CJHole after a slow start selling our property through a different local agent. The difference in service was remarkable - we had timely feedback after viewings, regular updates without being prompted and we experienced a truely professional service throughout the process. Very good experience. They were very friendly and always got back to my communications very promptly. I always spoke to them on the same day as the enquiry. They were a very good communication link between myself and the Vendor and always answered whatever random or odd queries I had! We chose our estate agent carefully, having had valuations from 3 local agents. They all seemed competent but we felt CJ Hole had the edge. We mainly delt with George Mawer who was enthusiastic, professional and always pleasure to deal with but the same could be said for all of the staff. We found an excellent buyer in a reasonable time frame and took George\'s experienced advice when it came to the negotiations. Communication was outstanding throughout and we regularly received emails from the staff after office hours and in one case even after midnight! Our sale couldn\'t have gone better and CJ Hole played a large part in that. I would thoroughly recommend CJ Hole Henleaze to anyone looking to sell in the area.

Professionalism from when they first entered the property to discuss marketing until completion of sale. Very efficient, no \'flannel\' and always aware of progress or reasons for delay in the conveyancing \'chain\'. Tim Pepper was personable yet businesslike, and always \'on top\' of events. We were recommended CJ Hole by a friend who had sold their house the previous year, they offered us a very competitive rate and worked for every penny. I was impressed from the outset with the attitude and efficiency of the Henleaze branch. We own a Victorian terraced house with a few and typical survey issues for a house of its type and in a turbulent and difficult market they worked tirelessly to negotiate a fair price. On 2 occasions the sales fell through, this was due to a nervous market with lending tight and buyers often moving having not achieved a great price for their previous house. I truly believe that under the circumstances they could not have done anymore. After 6 months on the market we decided to let the property through Cj Hole letting and were very pleased with the value and service they also provided. We will undoubtedly return to CJ Hole sales when the time and market is right to sell our property. Thank you chaps.

We were very impressed by Tim\'s expert local knowledge and matter of fact approach. It was easy to strike a rapport with him which helped enormously during a somewhat protracted sale. We have just purchased a house through Tim Pepper, of C J Hole Henleaze. Ours was not an easy purchase, for a variety of reasons and Tim couldn\'t have supported us better throughout the entire process. He instinctively knew when to push through and when to step back, gave freely of his time in a very friendly, but totally professional way. He was absolutely fair to everyone involved, respected our knowledge, views and concerns when we voiced them and advised appropriately when we requested it. He knows his patch like the back of his hand and is extremely efficient, knowledgeable and genuinely empathetic. The entire team was always helpful but Tim is a beacon in his industry and we couldn\'t recommend him more highly.

My review is for CJ Hole Henleaze Bristol. I have been fortunately enough to forge a community relationship with them through our local primary school. CJ Hole are an excellent advertisement for estate agents as they are very willing to take part in their community and are prepared to come out to school events even though their children do not attend that school. As an estate agent they are extremely generous towards local schools providing us with very generous raffle prizes which enables our school to raise large sums on our raffles. The C J Hole team at Henleaze were all very helpful and professional in our dealings with them. Our home was treated with respect in all arrangements for viewings and we received good feedback and updating information on the state of play. Not only did they find us a buyer, they were mindful of the type of property we were looking to buy and came up trups on finding us a new home in our ideal location. Our experience of using C J Hole throughout the buying and selling process was excellent, we had good advice, they helped keep things moving with the 3 solicitors involved and even helped us find a suitable surveyor and removal firm to make things run smoothly. Although the named people are Tim and George as it is mainly down to their efforts that we are now happily settled, Callum should also get a mention for his help.

This agent was marketing the property we bought and had previously given us a market appraisal for our property. From the moment our offer was accepted by the seller , CJ Hole moved swiftly to put ours on the market within a few days. They negotiated an acceptable offer within another few days and kept us fully informed at all times. There were times in the process when matters became quite difficult but they worked hard to find a mutually acceptable settlement. It is possible that without their hard work and expertise the sale would not have been concluded to everyone\'s satisfaction. We would certainly recommend them.

George and Tim have really got their eye on the ball - they consistently displayed a detailed understanding of what was going on in the local marketplace and they take their job seriously - always available, pleasant, patient and delivered on commitments. It appears to me that they\'ve really gone the extra mile to know what their customers want - even down to the smallest detail of everyone in the team knowing who you are with very little prompting and knowing details of the property to which you are referring. Even though your house isn\'t the biggest or most expensive on their books you are made to feel like it is. They put in the hours and my husband and I were deeply impressed.
