Shaky start but things have got better now. Whether it was more on the side of the landlord taking time or not I am not sure. The initial signing took a bit longer than expected, and a boiler problem due to lack of funds from the landlord took a week and a bit to resolve. Otherwise things are going smoothly now.

I have no issues with Ludlow at the moment. The only critical service I would ask them to improve is their RESPONSE and REPLY\'s to phone calls or email should be quicker !

Mike and Sarah were both very helpful from the moment I made contact. Everything was arranged promptly and professionally and they were able to be flexible in a number of aspects to make the process easier from a tenant\'s point of view. They were also very easy to get hold of if I had questions about the process/property. Only slight downside (more of a comment really) was that in dealing with several people over different sites sometimes communication lines got a bit tangled, but nothing that wasn\'t easily sorted out by a clarification e-mail. Definitely wouldn\'t put me off using them again though. Also their website is great!

Michael was absolutely fantastic from the very first moment we used him. He got us a great deal and was very hands on throughout the whole process. once he had let the property to us he very ably handed us over to the land lord. I would definitely recommend Michael to any perspective tenant.

Michael was really helpful in our search for a place. Although we werent looking in his area he went out of his way to give us advice on the sort of price we were looking to pay and the places we could afford to go for. I\'d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a place!!

To Whom it may concern! Me and my Flatmate Miriam gave Michael a last mintue call this evening( 6pm), to enquire about the property ( SE1 GBX , flat 250) . By 6:45pm we were at Meto Central Hights, and viewing the wanted flat. Michael was extremely helpful , and understanding even tho we were a few minutes late he was very welcoming, and easy going. Considering that both of us are property owners, and have had our struggles with agencies before, we were thrilled with his services, and wouldnt hesitate for a moment of giving him the right to take care of our flats, and find tenant for them. WE LOVED HIM!!! :)

Michael Birley was extremely helpful when we were searching for a property to let. He replied quickly and efficiently to all exchanges, and was truly honest about the houses we were viewing, in comparison to other agents we have worked with in the past. He actually listened about what we wanted and, significantly, about what we did not want; a credit to the LT team.

5 students renting for their second year at Kings College London. Of the 5 prospective tenants it was never possible to get them all together at the same time. This meant that Mike was having to repeat a lot of work i.e. showing 3 people round one day and 2 the next. These problems were always dealt with courteously and efficiently.Come signing day one of the tenants was away on holiday but this was dealt with as well. All in all we would definitely recommend the services of this firm and particularly Mr Birley

Great service from Mike, we have worked with him before and will definitely be working with him in the future. Always on the case, available to talk to on weekends unlike many other people, follow-through on paperwork and any promises made, and has great relationships with landlords which helps massively with the more unusual requests.

Found good tenants,sorted out problems which had been caused by another branch,has restored my faith in Ludlow after a bad experience with another branch,still awaiting a cheque but i have confidence in Mike that it will arrive soon and if it doesent im sure he will sort it. Overall a good agent.

Mike had a very good local knowledge of the area and provided competent advice. He was always available when I called to answer any questions and gave me confidence in the service Ludlow Thompson provide. Due to these reasons my future investment strategy is to invest in multi let properties surrounding Se17 to attain maximum cash flow from assets. With Mikes assistance I feel it could be a profitable business relationship for all those involved.

I had very specific and impossible requirements plus an impossible deadline. Within hours of my sending an email to request a viewing of a property I\'d seen on some general website, I received email responses from Jibby before 8am the next day. I was very impressed with Michael's responses to my phone calls. He knew alot about the area and was very helpful with answers to my questions. He went out of his way to accomodate timings of meetings which definitely helped me with getting to him after work and over the weekends.

I found Ludlow Thompson to be very helpful. Intially showing us around the property when it was late into the evening, letting us take our time to look around and really discuss it. Michael was very open and honest with us as well as easy to get hold of, he was also good at getting back to us when he said he would. It made the whole process really straight forward when I was initially dreading it! Even after we had moved in we could just pop into the office and ask for their help on things like setting up our rent DD, they did it there and then for us so that was great. They are friendly and personable and not pushy-all in all a very good experience.

After a horrible experience with another estate agent in which our letting fell through two weeks before the move in date Ludlow Thompson helped us find a new flat within extremely short timescales. Mike, our lettings agent, showed us two properties and when we made an offer was able to negotiate a deal with the landlord that was a very good price. Sarah in the office was very good, professional, and easy to get hold off and helped ensure that everything went through as required. Overall service was very good, and only annoyance was not related to people but more to the Ludlow Thompson processes and systems, in which the computer generated emails can feel at times very impersonal / demanding and not in keeping with the relationship that has been created by the individuals who work there. In comparison with the three other estate agents I have had in London, by far is the best yet.

We were very pleased with Ludlow Thompson and Mike Birleys help with letting our flat. I believe it was less that 2-3 days from going on the market to filled. He gave us advice on the new tenants pet and kept us updated along the way. Ludlow's has been maintaining our property for over 9 years and they have allways done a great job!

Great in finding a property (albeit already over our budget). Flexible in letting both of us view the flat at different times. Long office opening hours so there is a variety of times in order to view the property. Several things were wrong though: we were not given the second set of keys that the agents had, so I have had to borrow a second set from the landlord as were unable to get the keys from the agents over the weekend. The fees are very expensive, especially considering that the tenant has to do a hell of a lot of work in navigating a fairly rubbish and unintuitive website and getting all the documents in for referencing. The usual fees of 1.5 weeks rent plus VAT seem incredibly steep, fortunately Michael had agreed a smaller figure (albeit still a lot more than I have paid with other estate agents). Further, our fees were entered wrong when we came to paying our money and this involved various email exchanges instigated by myself in order to correct this.

Mike Birley was my letting agent when I was looking for a flat to rent in Oval. He was very personable and quickly responded to my initial enquiries for a flat to rent in the area, arranging 4 properties to view in 2 days. One of the properties was a perfect fit although it was already under offer- so Mike stayed late in the office negotiating our offer with the landlord. After a short bidding war, our maximum offer was accepted. Mike was quick to turn around the contract and within a week we had the keys.
