I would advise Davis Keep to be the first port of call for anyone considering selling or renting out their property in the north east! Having used a variety of agents in this area over the years for buying and selling, DK are certainly the best I have encountered. Going the extra mile is something that they do as a matter of course, leading to a service which is second to none. As a first time, landlady, I had many questions and these were responded to in depth - and with great patience!

Excellent service, DK Lettings minimise void periods and address and maintenance problems immediately. Very thorough and professional. have used other agents in Newcastle and DK Lettings are far superior. Would thoroughly recommend.

The day I requested the services of dk lettings 2 members of staff came to the property and immediatley began organising the property to let. Photos were taken for the website which were high quality. An inventory was also done and the whole process was very efficient and impressive.
The management of the property has been first class, anything I need to know, dk lettings contact me immediatley and advise me on what is occurring.
The whole service dk lettings provide is one of very high class and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone.

Main points of note:
- Provided a comprehensive check-in package which included all the relevant information required, including photographs of the current state of the flat and up-to-date meter readings
- Quick to respond and helpful as a management agency, including liaising with the company responsible for the management and upkeep of the estate regarding problematic neighbours
- Comprehensive and user-friendly check-out documentation which made it much easier to leave the flat in appropriate condition to get the maximum deposit returned.All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful, and willing to go out of their way to help when necessary. This is the third letting/management agency I have dealt with in Newcastle/Gateshead and I have had very poor experiences previously so am pleased to say that I was unexpectedly impressed by the professionalism shown by Davis Keep.

All issues that have arisen before and during the tenancies have een dealtwit thouroughl and efficiently and most importantly at little or no inconvenience to me, which is exactly what I wanted from a letting agent.

Davis Keep are very professional throughout the whole process of renting out my flat. Detailed Quarterly reports on the condition of my property are given, and if there are any problems with the flat Davis Keep deal promptly with the issues and check the necessary alterations have been made. Davis Keep are very pro activate in finding new tenants when necessary.
Davis Keep provide a very high quality and professional personal service to owners of properties.

I have used Davis Keep for both Lettings and Sales, they are a very rare Estate Agency indeed, their philosophy is all about going the extra mile, and by golly do they go the extra mile. We have bought and sold houses over the years and our past experience of the sales process has been one of "we have an offer on your house we will pass the details onto your Solicitor" they then slap a SOLD or UNDER OFFER notice on your house and that is it, you hear very little else from them, aside to ask when is completion taking place so they can collect their fee. We have used Davis Keep twice to obtain tenants for a property in Central Newcastle and they would be our first port of call for us in the future.
They are customer friendly, they listen to their cusomers, they are focused on the job in hand, provide regular and good feedback on prospective tenant viewings and are efficient and effective. They left the other firm with which we had the property advertised well behind. In short, nothing seemed to be any trouble for them.
When it came to signing up a tenant, we were travelling abroad - Davis Keep was able to process the documentaion so that we were able to proceed to signature through creative use of IT whilst we were in transit.

Very professional/efficient. Can be relied upon to make sure that the property is kept in a good state of repair and to assist if anything needs renovating/repairing etc., to include obtaining quotes/overseeing works and generally instilling an air of confidennce that the property is being well managed/is in safe hands which is extremely important as a landlord who lives & works abroad. Highly recommended by a friend I have found them streets ahead of the previous agents used and in turn would have no hesitation in recommending Davis Keep as they provide an excellent thoughtful service delivered in an engaged and professional manner.

Appointment for accompanied viewing arranged and confirmed promptly. Even though we arrived 15-20 minutes early Andrew was there to greet us. During viewing information passed to us and our questions answered.
Sales negotiation was conducted promptly and efficiently, as well as matters arising particular to this sale.
Throughout the purchase period Andrew remained in contact with us, thus ensuring all parties were kept informed.
Overall we are very pleased with the service they provided and continue to provide.

Excellent knowledge of the Letting Industry and do what they say they will do. Very adept at dealing with new problems and think out of the box rather than apply standard solutions to non standard problems. Proactive in their approach and deal with each tenancy on its own merits. Very fair pricing structure and prompt payments and receipts with fully transparent records for each transaction. Very personal service overall for each landlord and very good industry contacts such as when there is an insurance claim and a need to engage contractors.
I cannot recommend this agency highly enough particularly in contrast with the other agencies in the vicinity.

The service from Daviskeep regarding my let property has been outstanding. I pay the monthly fee for them to look after the house and am extremely glad I have done this. Any problems have been sorted promptly and professionally, and in a friendly way.

My inital contact was by telephone after having found the agency via a google search. Helen spent time explaining the services of Davis Keep and sending a detailed follow up email which was really helpful for us to review and consider. Helen visitied us at the property and immediately conveyed a confident, business like manner with obvious attention to detail. Our feeling was, if she took that much notice on one visit then it was looking good for our future dealings with the agency. The details were placed on the web with plenty of information and photos to assist us in finding a tennant.
We have now had two sets of tennants in the property and in all aspects the staff at Davis Keep have acted in a professional manner, keeping us informed as to what is happening, which is very much appreciated. Helen did an excellent job of securing our second tennant with only 1days 'void' between tennants. Alex has also been very efficient in dealing with administration and rent issues.

Highly professional service, which differed greatly from dealings with previous Agents. Helen and Andrew were very knowledgable of the market, and were extremely proactive in marketing the property. The property was let in a very short period of time and the overall process was managed without any hassle. Davis Keep are a rare thing in the current marketplace, a Letting Agent that is dependable, proactive and knowledgeable. Having rented several times in the past I am used to a rather rushed, half hearted and impersonal service. However, the experience with Davis Keep has been completely different to any other agent I have used in the past.
From start to finish the level of of customer service has been excellent. The staff are incredibly helpful and have catered to my individual requirements without question or hesitation. At each stage of the renting process the staff were on hand to guide me through my choices and questions with ease and professionalism.
Overall my experience with Davis Keep has been very positive. Davis Keep are an outstanding company whose attention to detail is exemplary. If you are considering selling, renting etc. I highly recommend Davis Keep.

I would highly recommend David Keep to anyone in the North East area. After renting via various agents in the past, and being let down in some way by most of them, I can confidently say they are the best agency I have had the pleasure to deal with. From my first telephone call Andrew and other members of staff Helen and Adam were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I had a number of issues and complications to sort out with regards to the property I was selling before I could take up my tennancy, Andrew was extremely helpful in offering advice re this and facilitated my on going move to the rental property. They kept me well informed and dealt with matters quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to use them again in a buying or rental capacity.
